LIVING HISTORY HATFIELD

Winner of the Sandford Award for Heritage Education

 

Available for all levels of the history curriculum and calling on many years of experience working at some of the country's most prestigious historic sites including The Tower of London, Dover Castle and Hampton Court, our aim is to portray the background and atmosphere of any particular period in history to provide an introduction that will compliment students' studies at all levels of the history curriculum.

 

Living History offers an immersive and interactive educational experience for all.

For over twenty years Living History Hatfield has offered the chance for pupils to meet either Henry VIII or Elizabeth I in the Royal Palace of Hatfield, a building that both monarchs knew intimately.

We have on occasion visited individual schools. During this period of uncertainty we are concentrating on this aspect of the Living History Project.
